hehe, try drawing every hair in with a 3pixel airbrush....
actually i do use a different brush too for larger areas, but i cant remember how i made it. its in photoshop and it looks a bit like a spatter, but you can drag it...

You know, if there is one thing I find the most difficult to draw in a horse it's the eye. But you've done this wonderfully, so realistic and the wrinkles above the eye so perfect...

hehe, well having 48,000 reference photos of your own helps....*grins* but that detail looks cool, i just think i use a smaller brush then you do, its practically single pixel....and of course i do work on big picture files too.
