This is actually a total rework of an old painting rather then a new one, the painting in question being this one [link]
i was looking through my work trying to find something to go into an exhibition thats on next week and decided that it showed promise if i repainted it. So...several days, a lot of headaches and some acrylic paint later and its evolved into this

it feels great to be painting again, things i actually want to paint, not what university wants me to. I have a Capercaillie in the works that i want to finish soon but it got put on hold as there was no way id have got it finished for the exhibiton.
