i thought its about time i did a tutorial. . i always liked seeing tutorials by other graphite artists as graphite drawing really isnt quite as hard as it seems as first. It takes an awful lot of practise and getting to know your medium to get things right though. bascially, get yourself some good paper, a good set of pencils(i use Mars Lumograph, and 2 mechanical pencils, a 0.7 with HB leads and a 0.5 with 2B leads) i also use paper blending sticks(i think they are called tortillons) and medium kneaded putty eraser, as well as maped epure erasers for lifting out hair detail (i might have to do another tutorial on hair detail later)

You're so amazing, and YES PLEASE do a tutorial on hair! (and feathers??? heehee)

This has definetly helped me a lot, but I have to practise with my outlining a lot.
