i just dug this scan out of one of the old cd's of pictures. id forgotton about this pic which is a shame cause i think it was one of the best pics in my GCSE art portfolio. I wonder if i still have it somewhere....
anyway, this was back in the days when i still used other peoples photos, although as i didnt sell this i dont suppose it matters. it was done on Basildon bond 'The Sketch Pad' paper with Caren D'ache prismalo coloured pencils. i did this when i was 16 i think....man i must get myself an excuse to do some more coloured pencil work again.
.....wow. Damn, you did this at my age. LOL...very impressive. I love the coloring!! Thye shininess is awesome, and the subject of choice is equally neat. +fav
wow, excellent. I have some of those pencils... but they never look THIS good when I use them! (Probably because the only ones I have left are pink, aqua and lavender!)
funnily enough I drew a snake for GCSE art which I was really proud of... Maybe because all the shiny scales give a lot of scope for interesting light and colour patterns. We had to design a book cover. I chose 'The Silver Brumby' and did some drawings of Australian wildlife. (Not that snakes had anything to do with the book... The ideas behind my art projects were always very tenuous!)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
