this is a gift i drew for because she is a lovely person and going through a hard time at the moment.
the background is a photo taken by ~parataxic and i just felt it was perfect for what i wanted to draw.

The background could as well have been painted, at first I thought it was a painting until I saw in your description it's a photo :) :+fav:

I don't think the horse is too dark, It could mimic the hard times that the reciever is going through. I love how you have illuminated around the pegasus similar to every dark cloud has a silver lining. The clouds are spectacular too. Good choice! No, Great choice! I am just in awe of your work, but then again, I have told you that before.

First of all, I am so grateful that you've done this for me, you absolutely choke me up... You are such a beautiful and talented and generous person to feel for me and respond with kindness and art. This piece is so lovely, so ethereal... it really reminds me of my own visions and life. I downloaded yesterday from the link you gave me and immediately showed it to my D, telling him how much it reminded me of him.
