ive never seen or heard of this species before but its stunning. unfortunately i couldnt get very close, i need a bigger zoom lense lol, but it was showing off for a bit anyway at least lol.

Holybejesusshit, that wingspan is...impressive to say the least? Gorgeous bird, and a nice shot considering you couldn't get close. I probably would've got it with its wings closed or something :XD:

Beautiful bird, I can see where he got his name. Its a great picture considering the distance, I like the way you got a pic of him with his wings spread.

If I ever win the lottery, Ill buy and send you a super zoom camera. It is a beautiful shot. I think you must be lucky to have gotten him. Was he trapped in a barn or a shed? I have tried to photograph birds of prey here in Arkansas. They seem to know the minute you are looking at them and fly off.
