this is a picture ive been working on for a very long time. it was inspired by a sketch i did when i was about 13, which had a totally different perspective, but it featured a man on a black horse walking through a street and i thought it had a decent atmosphere so i worked on it. its still not finished, but it will probably be a long time yet before it is completely finished. Its based on a scene in one of the many stories i have in my head, part of which i actually did write as a first chapter when i was about 11...and yes it does feature a man with a big black horse called Raven. It has nothing to do with the lord of the rings as a lot of people have said it looks like Bree...but i can assure you it isnt. id say a part of it did get inspired by the city of Rain in the computer game Silver which i used to play almost obsessively when i was younger(i still would but it doesnt work on this operating system) comments and crits are welcome.
Amazing. I love the smooth texture-like feel to it. The lighting affect shows nicely too. And the darkness mixed with the small amount of light makes it have this neat look. I love the horse's silhouette, hehe.
Hm, I'd love to see this piece finished, it would be really awesome.
I love the atmosphere you've created. Beautiful lighting effect. I love the buildings and those shady figures in the background. Can't wait 'till it's finished.

Locking lips is just like saying hello. It is nothing major. Although in the novel I was reading the other day, even crazier things were happening!

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
